Meet the Owners!

We are two best friends and basic gals just like many of you. We are different and alike in so many ways, and our love for fashion is one of our most prominent commonalities, and believe it or not, it is also one of our differences. We love fashion yes, but we each have our own style that brings that unique basic gal out and allows her to shine. We met in college in 2003 and since then we have lived through many life experiences together, which included three graduations resulting in both of us obtaining a master’s degree in Psychology. Even though we went to school together, we now work in different fields; nevertheless, we figured we would continue our journey and nourish our creative inclinations further by sharing our love for style, and yes, even some of our struggles, with other basic gals just like us.

Therefore, we can’t promise you to be perfect, perfection is overrated anyway! However, we can guarantee that we will build our collections using our inspiration and experiences, and of course your feedback, as a canvas for our creations. We have now offered you a closer look at how Basic Gal was born, and how we hope to develop it further, with our basic gals by our side. Our wish is that you are all part of this new journey of discovery and that you walk right beside us as we discover the basic gal in each and every one of us!
